Batchelors Landscapes is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal data responsibly and in line with UK data protection laws. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website.

- The address of the site where the work is needed

- Anything you tell us in the message box on the quote form
We only collect information that is necessary to respond to enquiries and provide our landscaping services. We do not collect payment card details through this website.

- Performing the contract, where you go ahead with a job

5: Who Has Access to Your Data
Your personal data may be accessed by:
- Batchelors Landscapes, who carry out your work
- WAT Websites, who built and maintain this website and act as a data processor on our behalf
WAT Websites may access form submissions for technical support, website maintenance and performance monitoring purposes only.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties.
6: Data Sharing
We will only share your data where necessary, with the service providers that keep the website running, such as hosting, database, email delivery, spam filtering and analytics services.
Some of these providers process data outside the UK, for example in the United States. Where that happens we rely on safeguards recognised under UK law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
We may also share data where legally required to do so. All third parties are required to handle your data securely and in compliance with UK GDPR.
7: How Long We Keep Your Data
We keep enquiry and job records only for as long as we need them to provide our service, deal with any follow-up or warranty questions, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. After that we delete them.
Records needed for legal or accounting purposes, such as invoices for completed work, are kept for as long as the law requires.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 9).

10: Cookies & Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are most popular and how people get in touch. It does not tell us who you are.
- _ga and _ga_ followed by a site code, set by Google Analytics, tell one visitor from another and track a single visit. They expire after 2 years.
- We also use Vercel Analytics for basic page view counts. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using the browser add-on Google provides at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
